Looking For Pork In Abu Dhabi? Cooper's Has A New Menu That's Bringing The Bacon

Pork fans, this one's for you! Cooper’s has just launched a brand new pork menu and, spoiler alert, this is not run-of-the-mill pub grub. Bag yourself a Germanic sausage-y bar snack or a banging Italian charcuterie platter for a light option or a heaving, American-style sharing plate loaded with goodness - whatever you choose, you’ll be amazed by the quality and depths of flavour in every dish.

The beautifully presented cold cuts board (AED110) is packed with high-quality meats, including peppery mortadella from Bologna and salami from Umbria, and is perfect for a group to snack on over a few drinks on the terrace.

The piping hot, juicy pulled pork croquettes (AED65) and currywurst (AED80) are also great dishes for sharing, the wurst one of the best we’ve tried anywhere ever, with flavourful German sausage chunks topped with a tangy homemade curry ketchup. The souvlaki (AED75) comes with 3 Greek pitas stuffed with tender pork marinated in garlic, rosemary & lemon and served with fries, perfect for a lunch snack.

The smell of the beer-b-q ribs (AED190) hit us before they even landed on the table. Made with US meat, cooked sous vide, then smoked, resulted in a fall-apart soft meat with a delicious crust - and tons of it. Topped with house-made BBQ sauce that allows the taste and quality of the meat to shine through, this is one worth getting messy for!

If you have any room left, don’t miss the chunky churros (AED45), served with a moreish Guinness chocolate dip while the limoncello flamed lemon tart (AED55) is a fun way to end the meal - set alight at the table to reveal a perfectly pretty lemon meringue that tastes as good as it looks with a consistency that was close to perfect!
