The Vivo business lunch deal offers 2 courses for AED169 or 2 courses and a drink for AED219. The miso soup arrives first and is complementary so it doesn't count towards your courses! Then you have the tough decision of choosing 2 starters from 16 options, including samba rolls, prawn gyoza and taquitos. For the mains there’s a great range of vegetarian, meat or fish dishes to choose from and whilst the portions are slightly on the smaller side, the quality is top-notch.

Back in the office for the afternoon? This popular high-end restaurant is offering a swift business lunch deal - promising high quality food delivered promptly to your table. Miso soup, 2 courses and 1 main is available from the ebisu menu for AED159 or go for the ebisu express which is miso soup and a main for AED81. If you’re opting for the starters - there’s an impressive 14 to choose from! Lots of mains on the business lunch menu too and they haven’t skimped on quality - Wagyu sirloin with truffle sauce is on the menu and so is their famous black cod.

Found on the 68th floor, the award-winning Prime68 offers incredible panoramic views of the city. Their business lunch offers are AED125 for 2 courses or AED148 for 3 courses. There are lots of starters to choose from - our highlight was the French onion soup. For mains there is a choice of filet mignon, Norwegian salmon, truffle gnocchi or the Prime68 burger. They’ve kept desert simple with a choice of either Eton mess or chocolate mousse. Don’t miss going to the restrooms here - an experience in itself!

Business lunch at La Petite Maison (formerly known by its diminutive, LPM!) offers one of the best business lunches in Dubai.  It’s difficult to find more exceptional Mediterranean fare.

Choose either le petit menu with a starter and a main, or le grand menu and add a dessert … whichever way you go, your palate will thank you! For starters, we love the red peppers in olive oil, soft and piquant, and the crispy calamari, with bite sized pieces of squid in the lightest of batters never fails to please.

The mushroom and parmesan risotto is a main  course designed with your tastebuds in mind - it’s perfectly prepared but not so rich that it feels too heavy: a triumph of a dish. The faux filet grille, sirloin steak, is one of the best dishes on this menu: the steak is expertly seasoned and prepared and is both light and substantial.

Finish sweet and light with an outstanding choux pastry, deliciously filled with coffee cream.

Escape the office and head to Roka for a Japanese business lunch with a view. They have 2 options; classic lunch menu for AED125 or their premium for AED180 . Starters are designed to be shared and include dumplings, tempura and sashimi on the premium menu.

For mains there’s a large choice with options including salmon filets, lamb cutlets and rice hot pot. We absolutely love the lamb and would choose this every time! If you’re still feeling peckish you can add on a dessert for AED29 - who doesn’t love a mochi to finish?!

Their business lunch is the Menu Ejecutivo, which offers a variety of Latin American dishes - think lamb skewers, wagyu beef cheek and seabass. It’s changed up regularly to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients. Prices are reasonable, with a starter and main setting you back AED110, 3 courses AED135 or 4 courses with 2 starters for AED160.

A celebration of everything Indian, Carnival’s decor is bright and colourful and it offers a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. There’s a 3 course business lunch for AED110 or 4 courses for AED135 (exclusive of taxes) which includes an amuse bouche and a sorbet palate cleanser. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus are available which is great for guests with different dietary needs.

And our choices? The butter chicken is incredible and we particularly love the chicken momo to begin. If you still have room and want to add an Indian dessert it’s an additional AED26

In the heart of DIFC you’ll find The Guild, a decadent and stylish restaurant which offers a ‘rapide’ menu if you’re conscious of time (and money!), or a ‘prime’ menu if you’re not.

Très Rapide menu is 2 courses for AED119 and the Power Rapide menu offers all 3 courses for AED149 and offers options such as grilled octopus skewers or salmon rillettes. If you’re out to impress (or if the office is paying!), the Très Prime is 2 courses for AED199 or Power Prime (all 3 courses with tea or coffee) for AED259. These menu choices are fancier and a memorable culinary experience with dishes such as Wagyu beef carpaccio and red snapper en papillote, which is our favourite!
