PALAZZO VERSACE | JADDAF WATERFRONT

Held in the lavish Palazzo Versace hotel, this award-winning brunch really does have it all. For the kids there’s a range of performers including a Moana act and the Dubai icon Magic Phil, face painting and great activities such as slime making and planting as well as access to kids club and pool access. There’s never a dull moment as a range of Jungle animals wander the tables and perform (we love the gorillas!) which keeps everyone entertained. The food is high-quality and there’s a really good selection - everything you would expect at a top brunch. The price is on the higher end - AED350 for soft drinks package, AED450 for house, AED570 for house and sparkling or, if you’re celebrating, the champagne package will set you back an eye-watering AED810! Children between 4-11 years are AED165 with 3 and under free. They’ve just added an extra hour onto the brunch so you get 4 hours of entertainment and food and drink - or extend the fun by heading to the pool after.

IMAGINATION BRUNCH

THE HILTON DUBAI | PALM JUMEIRAH 

Busy on Saturday? The Imagination Brunch kicks off every Sunday and hits all the right family notes. There are characters wandering around the restaurant to surprise and delight your little ones - look out for a pink dragon and singing princesses! Facepaint, a bouncy castle, arts and crafts and a science show all take place throughout the afternoon to keep the smaller brunch-goers busy. The food is great, with a large selection of dishes from all around the world and an impressive seafood selection. The kids section is large and is based around the imagination theme - think Willy Wonka! Kids under 6 are free, and ages 6-11 only AED100. McCAFFERTY’S IRISH PUB

PYRAMIDS WAFI | OUD METHA

Looking for a laid-back family brunch? You won’t be disappointed with McCafferty’s in Wafi. Pool access is included during brunch hours and there’s a lazy river and slides to keep the kids busy. There’s loads for the kids to do out of the water, too: bracelet making, canvas painting, face painting and even make-your-own pizza (which they can then eat!). Food options for kids tick all the boxes, with a dedicated menu featuring all the usual suspects, and candyfloss, ice-cream and popcorn for dessert. For adults, brunch starts with a sharing platter followed by your choice of main course. It’s a bit of a fried-food fest but perfect finger food, adding to the laid-back vibe. There’s live entertainment from a singer who plays non-stop crowd-pleasers and even takes requests! Brunch comes in at a wallet friendly AED199 for soft, AED295 for house beverages and AED345 for premium (including sparkling). Teens are AED150, kids aged 6-12 are only AED99 and under 5s are free.

If you’re after a smaller brunch with a good selection of food and drink, head down to Firelake Grill House in Damac Hills for their Family Fair brunch. There’s activities for the kids - including an outdoor playground, facepaint and bricks - and they’ll be pleased with a good selection of food geared toward younger palates to choose from. We love their special mocktails for the kids: the gummy bear, shirley temple and sandcastle punch are all guaranteed to give your little ones lots of energy for the afternoon, and make them feel part of the brunch-time fun. The food for adults is good, and the chef is great at catering for dietary needs. You’re sure to feel very looked after! Kids aged 4-12 are AED99 and for adults it’s AED249 for soft, AED349 for house and AED495 for the bubbly package. The best bit? BestBites are offering 2 for 1 on all bubbly packages!

This legendary brunch is packed with family activities and it’s the ultimate place to visit with the family, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion or have guests to impress! The little ones will be thrilled with a dedicated kids area: check out the bouncy castle, slime making, face painting and plenty more. Half way through the afternoon, you’re in for a treat! A show for the children kicks off - the entertainer is impressive and holds their attention with all sorts of stunts and tricks. ONCE UPON A BRUNCH

Enjoy an afternoon of fun at the impressive Once Upon a Brunch. Particularly appealing to younger ones, this brunch is all things princess! After being welcomed by fairies, there are princesses and Disney sing-a-longs throughout the afternoon to keep the magic flowing. A bouncy castle and ping-pong in the garden are perfect for burning off some energy. Food is plentiful - there are numerous live cooking stations as well as a separate kids’ buffet and a decadent dessert station. BRICKS BRUNCH 

LEGOLAND HOTEL DUBAI | SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD 

Calling all Lego fans! The ultimate family brunch, the Bricks Brunch is all about Lego! It’s an action packed afternoon: level up with Lego building, kids can decorate their own pizza, ice cream or cookies in the kids kitchen, before a dance party and a Lego movie as the afternoon ticks on.
