The Ultimate Pool Day At Capila, Hilton Yas Bay

We kicked things off with three large starters, which they bring straight to your table or sun lounger. Crispy burrata flatbread with tons of melty cheese, pulled beef tacos and the chicken avocado salad were all tasty and fresh.

Arriving beautifully presented on a large platter, mains featured chicken and prawn anticuchos, nachos, beef sliders, beef chorizo buns, crispy corn bites, waffle fries, and dips including guac. These were all delicious and hoovered up! For dessert, we enjoyed a mix of tropical fruits, refreshing ice lollies as well as a passion fruit mousse with cookie pieces.

There are eight cocktails to choose from, possibly the most I’ve ever seen included in a brunch package, and as a big fan of a nice glass, I was so happy to see chic glasses for the spritzes. Classic favourites like margaritas, pina coladas, and mojitos complemented the spritz offering, along with a selection of beers, spirits, and wines. Both packages included mocktails, a great asset to the brunch.

The kids club was impressive with four separate rooms for air hockey and racing car machines, a large screen and bean bags, an activity room for crafts and games, and a jungle gym room for climbing and exploring. Outdoors, there’s a private kids pool with cabanas for parents to relax in if they choose: it really is a family’s dream day out!

Everything about this brunch exceeded our expectations: the service, the live duo giving the perfect poolside vibe, the variety of food and drinks and the kids club access, making for a great day out for adults and children alike.
