Live music! Sorso welcomed a new band and they’re so much fun - we danced up a storm. You’ll find no glorified karaoke here - this 4-piece setup is smooth, and they know all the classics!

Any night out at The Ritz-Carlton feels like a treat - walking in against a backdrop of the Grand Mosque adds glam factor - but this ladies night makes a mid-week visit a must!

Take a deep breath and dive right into this cracking Wednesday ladies night! How does free-flow margaritas and house wine start? Even better when they're free, we're sure! There's an AED100 minimum spend on food - easy with all your Mexican favourites on the menu.

Why not share some appetisers to whet your appetite - think guacamole, prawn ceviche or chicken and vegetable flautas, or maybe you'll be tempted by some classic mains like tostada salad, tacos or fajitas with lots of fillings on the menu (and plenty of veggie options!). End on a sweet note with a slice of tres leches cake, and enjoy the luxury of a proper catch up with your besties.

Tuesdays just got a whole lot more fun! Jones the Grocer has no shortage of fans at their three locations across Abu Dhabi - and we can’t wait for the Al Raha location to open up again soon - but have you tried their ladies night? If not, add it to your list, pronto! 

Rock up from 6PM on Tuesdays: it’s two hours of bottomless bevvies any time until 10PM for under AED100, so it’s perfect for a post-work drink with the girls. They’re also serving up 20% off the à la carte menu, which is the excuse we didn’t need to order some of our favourites. From moreish sharing boards to the aptly named Sydney sliders, crispy chicken parmigiana, delicious salads and a decadent dessert menu, Jones takes inspiration from their Aussie homeland and it shows! With drinks and dinner sorted, this is a mid-week treat you’ll return to time and again.

Thursday is so close to the weekend, you can almost taste it – and taste it you will at Barbossa’s ladies night: it’s a fiesta of epic proportions. Kicking off from 8PM, girls get unlimited classic margaritas, prosecco, house wine or spirits for three hours with an AED150 minimum spend, all too easy to cover with the tasty Mexican menu on offer. Do yourself a favour and try the birria tacos and the flautas and finish off with some excellent churros ... go on, you know you want to!

You’ll be struggling to stay in your seat as the DJ spins dancefloor-friendly beats, while dancers entertain the crowd and keep the mood amped up to the max. We challenge you not to join in!

For a funky twist, Craft’s cocktails are kegged and ready to be poured straight from the tap – speedy and delicious. Choose from house-made espresso martini, Moscow mule, paloma or Aperol spritz – or if you’re as indecisive as us, sample them all with one of Craft’s iconic cocktail flights.

Not a cocktail connoisseur? Free-flow beer and house wines are included too, and be sure to spring for something tasty from the food menu – with some of the best pub grub in Abu Dhabi, it’s not to be missed!

Here’s three things we love about this ladies night:

It’s a great night out on Saadiyat - enjoy Hamilton’s terrace as winter sets in, or keep yourself cool inside with plenty of space and a cool vibe. Wanting to branch out or hungry for more than light bites? Their main menu hits the spot, and also has pork if that’s your thing!

RACLETTE BRASSERIE AND CAFE

MAMSHA AL SAADIYAT

There are so many good things to say about this ladies night. First, it's on a Friday - maybe the only guaranteed night of the week that women actually want to get out of the house! Second, Raclette is so pretty, both inside and on the terrace, it's impossible not to feel the good vibes.

But it's the ladies night package that we think really turns this from a doable to a must-do! For just AED180, you get to choose a main dish - we love the mussels and the gorgeous salads, but for the more hungry among us, the risotto is good and the tagliatelle fresh from the parmesan wheel is hard to go past - and unlimited drinks.

The cocktails were excellent. All the martinis are more than up-to-scratch (the passionfruit martini is a favourite with the BB team!), and if you have a chat with the lovely person on the phone when you book, they'll do you a selection of what might just be Abu Dhabi's best mocktails which sets them apart from other Abu Dhabi ladies nights. There's also draught beer and wine to choose from, so whatever you fancy, you'll find it. If you'd like prosecco, you can upgrade and pay just AED195.

To add to what is surely one of Abu Dhabi's best ladies night moods, the musician plays a violin - yes, very gay Paris! - as well as a sax and then transitions to the DJ booth ... who doesn't love a multi-talented fella for a ladies night?!

This is a must-book ladies, don't be hoping to rock up and try for a table: they get busy!

If you're a city dweller, Lexx ladies night on a Friday is the one for you! Not only is the deal legendary, but the vibe is right on point.

For just AED99, you can choose any three drinks from the extensive list on offer, as well as an unlimited supply of the cocktail of the day! You won't go hungry, with a great little tapas and cheese platter with some of the best that Grand Hyatt has to offer!

After a recent refresh, this ladies night is a must-try - La Dolce Diva is calling, and we’re ready to answer. Channel ultimate Italian summer vacation energy with two hours of unlimited Italian drinks that make for the perfect aperitivo - we were struggling to decide on our favourite spritz.

Our non-drinkers haven’t been forgotten, as the selection of mocktails is delightful too and definitely some of the best around.

A DJ spins some beats to ensure the vibe is high, and it’s an easy choice for just AED70, leaving change for a tasty pizza or some antipasto if you’re peckish.
