Looking for the best live music in Abu Dhabi? Nothing quite makes for a great night out like some toe-tapping live tunes - whether it’s an energetic full band, a vibey duo or a captivating singer or soloist.

Porter’s English Pub
Grand Millennium Al Wahda
If you want a band who knows their way around a stage - and one that has the UAE cred to back it up - make sure you catch The H2O Band, kicking off at Grand Millennium Al Wahda from March 20th. Performing in the UAE since 2003, these guys are the real deal: from being crowned champions of the Abu Dhabi Battle of the Bands way back in 2013, to invitations to perform at the Philippine Embassy, national celebrations and other high profile events, you’re in for a well-oiled machine when they take the stage.
Currently the longest-running active band in the UAE, this highly versatile line up play across a wide range of genres and eras - from jazz, classical and retro, to pop, rock, and hits from the the 1950s right up to your 2020s bangers. It’s hard to beat the all-encompassing sound from a solid 6-piece, and band members Michael Tubig (the band leader on keyboard & vocals), John Villamarzo (drummer & vocals), Danny Villasola (guitarist & vocals), Rene (saxophonist & vocals) and two female vocalists Ace June and Michelle Ampong are an all-singing, big energy line up not to miss. Catch them performing at Porter's every week for a toe-tapping good time.

Craft by Side Hustle
The Galleria Al Maryah
There’s a lot to love about Craft - the UAE’s first and only brewery - and their live music night is not one to overlook! Kicking off every Thursday from 7.30PM until 10.30PM, the vibes are high and the drinks are flowing as the band entices patrons onto the makeshift dance floor. True to their Southern-inspired roots, channel some Louisiana vibes with an evening of jazz and blues tunes that could be straight out of New Orleans.
Round out this homage to the South with dinner to match - the kitchen puts out some epic pub grub that’s both soulful and delicious, and there is always something new in the beer sphere to tempt you, fresh from the keg room.

Loca
The Galleria Al Maryah
Another Galleria bringer-of-good vibes, Loca has you covered with a line up of resident DJs each week spinning all your favourite tracks. Kick things off on a Wednesday with Loca’s Ladies Night, served with a side of DJ Ramil on the decks - and if that’s not enough, playing the saxophone as well! We love a multi-talented chap who can break out the sax to add to our live music fix.
Noche Mexicana Fridays see DJ Eldar spinning from 8PM till late - the best way to welcome the weekend and fill up on your favourite Mexican dishes and plenty of bevs. Joining the marathon 5-hour brunch every Saturday, brunch beats are courtesy of DJ Ash, playing from 12PM to 5PM. Impromptu conga lines and non-stop dancing? Strongly encouraged!

The Warehouse Wine and Tapas Bar
Pearl Rotana
Don’t let this one fly under your radar - The Warehouse is a little bit of a hidden gem when it comes to live music, but their central location, debonair decor and delicious nightly deals make this the ideal spot for a catch up with your mates or an impromptu date night.
Catch live performances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday - with enough variety to make a return visit a must. Tapas Thursdays see a live singer playing Spanish and Latin music, as you enjoy a selection of Spanish tapas washed down with classic sangrias, Spanish wines, Spanish draught beer and house spirits. Your choice of 4 tapas, a pitcher of sangria or 2 hours of unlimited drinks will set you back AED190 - a bargain for dinner AND a show from the musician.
If you prefer to wait for the weekend, settle in for Friday night specials and a live singer playing international music. Our favourite? Saturday! Fado e Amigos brings a live singer performing some fabulous Portuguese fado music - transport yourself to the streets of Lisbon as you enjoy unlimited house Portuguese wines or beer for 2 hours with some tasty taps. Packages start from AED165, and there are plenty of deals to make staying to enjoy the music an easy call.

Sorso
The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal
The unmatched Tracy Preston is back at Sorso! The best bit? This time, you can catch her four times each week - every Wednesday to Saturday from 9PM. Performing with her band, you’re in for a proper treat as she trots out a vibey repertoire of modern RNB, soul and even some gospel tunes to show off her angelic voice.
After wowing judges and audiences alike on The Voice back in 2020, we’re stoked to see Tracy take the stage again with a regular spot in Abu Dhabi. Sorso is the perfect backdrop, with moody interiors, a tidy selection of drinks and most importantly, room to dance. If you aren’t a big dancer, it’s just as fun to sink into a comfy seat and enjoy the show - but be warned, you’ll be tempted to join in as the band gets going.
