If beachy vibes, Amalfi Coast-inspired décor, and excellent cocktails while watching the sun set are your vibe, then you’re going to love Amalfi Beach Lounge. As well as mixing up all your favourite gin-based cocktails and a curated take on G&Ts with Malfy Gin - what else? - all the classics are on the menu too. Be sure to try their signature cocktails: arancia e miele sour is the funky one with the grapefruit and blue sugar garnish on top, and it’s good.

Every Saturday, Amalfi offers an after-brunch package - sunset sips for just AED128, including 4 hours of free-flow with every single drink on the menu - an absolute bargain! Beer, wine and cocktails are all included, so whatever your tipple, it’s the perfect spot for sundowners.

If Saturdays don’t work for you, happy hour runs daily from 4–8PM, with drinks priced at AED38. There is a small bar menu if you’re peckish - the mushroom arancini (AED58) were gone in a flash and the Italian charcuterie board (AED68) was perfect for 2 to share - and it’s very easy to while away a few hours as the DJ spins some tunes and the sun goes down.

Walking into Amalfi really feels like an escape from the city and the only reminder you’re still in Abu Dhabi is the views of the Grand Mosque across the water. It’s a great one for a night out, an after brunch or a fabulous Abu Dhabi experience for when you have visitors.
