Terrace weather is well and truly here – and there is nowhere better to witness it than at  Nahaam 2.0! The concept has changed up slightly this season, while still keeping the essence of why the Nahaam brunch is so popular, showcasing Conrad’s restaurants including Jose by Pizzaro and Li Beirut.

It’s not humanly possible to try everything – although we gave it a good go! We started light: a surprising standout was the cured tuna with mint citrus melon that was so simple yet had us both swooning, while pâté fans will appreciate the quality and intense flavour of this dish. The prawn cocktail was a fun twist on the traditional, combining juicy prawns with a strawberry and plum garnish, and the peppery charcuterie definitely awakened those taste buds!

The team at the sushi bar did a great job at keeping up with the seemingly never-ending demand for the freshly made maki rolls and platters of soft sashimi, and those looking for a heartier meal will appreciate the perfectly smoked brisket and the prime rib, roasted bone-in with thyme. This was perfectly salted, and we loved the giant fluffy Yorkshire puddings that had the perfect amount of crunch, all doused in a meaty gravy.

There was an autumnal vibe to the desserts, with bunuelos de calabaza (pumpkin fritters) and pestinos – deep-fried dough in a honey glaze – both of which would satisfy the sweetest tooth. The toffee apple pudding was exceptionally rich and gooey and we loved the cinnamon tones of the apple sambuca tart. The lemon drizzle cake, adorned with caramel popcorn, would rival the family recipe, and we enjoyed the taste combination of the chocolate and chili fondant – it had just the right amount of kick.

Don’t miss the chocolate fountain -  choose from the strawberries and marshmallows on display, or go rogue and spear a chocolate truffle or macaron for extra decadence, and if you have any space left, the cheese selection is also well worth a whirl.

There is a kids' section, including bites such as fish & chips, and mini burgers, but most of the kids were happily loading up plates with pasta from the Italian station, and while there were no kids’ activities as such, pool access is included – the perfect way to burn off all that excess energy after hitting the desserts!

This is a fun brunch that feels occasion-worthy, but is not in the slightest bit stuffy, and with Marvin Lee and the After Sunset Band providing the soundtrack to the afternoon and doing a fantastic job at getting the crowd involved, the dance floor was buzzing.

Spoilt for choice would be an understatement at Nahaam, and what is really amazing is how much is done really well – the attention to detail is spot on. It’s a rare case of quantity and quality.
