La Terrazza Brunch At Antonia Chic - The Ultimate Italian Feast

Antonia Chic is nothing if not completely stylish: walk in through the velvet drapes and either sit inside amongst the fairly sumptuous red crushed velvet or make your way outside to the spacious terrace and get ready for an incredible brunch journey.

Start with the extensive antipasti buffet, which holds some high points. We love the cold things: the octopus salad, the gorgeous cheese and charcuterie platter, the plates of frittata and prawns, the fresh caprese salad. And the hot things: the meatballs are absolutely divine, we could easily just have had a plateful of these and be happy. The suppli were up to their usual standard - the bolognese ones are very filling and so delicious. Make your own bruschetta with some great pomodorini and caponata, which is very enjoyable.

The mains start coming and they don't stop coming. Chef prepares luscious cacio e pepe pasta, rich with pecorino in a wheel - this might be the most decadent thing for pasta lovers! We enjoyed the gorgeous saffron risotto with beautiful slow-cooked osso bucco, the absolutely beautiful veal scaloppini, and the fritto misto. But it may be the seafood gnochetti that steals the show - the pasta in a tomato based sauce and lashings of seafood is one of the best pasta dishes we've had in a while. This is a lot of food and comes as quickly or as slowly as you like.

Our eyes lit up at the sight of the dish of tiramisu. We recommend double helpings of this - it's possibly the best in Abu Dhabi and we're here for it!

Wash this amazing Italian food down with excellent wine and Birra Moretti as well as some very good mocktails - we highly recommend the passionfruit mojito.

Enjoy the sea views from the terrace, the vibey tunes from the DJ and the buzz of conversation: this is a busy restaurant, full of life and flavour on every level with excellent, efficient staff who love nothing more than some banter and chat, making this brunch even better.

We can't recommend it enough - if you love great Italian food and drinks and an amazing vibe, this is the brunch for you.
