THE FOOD
Come hungry! You get to choose one dish as part of the package and these are all hearty and generous. The very French soupe a l’oignon was a firm favorite with just the right balance of onion and cheese, making it comfortable and super filling!
Fancy something simpler? Both the chicken and the wagyu sliders are another delicious option and the pizza's an ideal size for sharing. Another mouthwatering dish was the mushroom fettuccine, made to order with a swish around the parmesan wheel - this was rich and fresh and just beautiful.
We couldn't go past the cauliflower which was perfectly cooked and laying on a bed of the smoothest most garlicky, deliciously creamy boursin, with pomegranate seeds adding a sweetness to this dish that really rounded it out.
We loved the addition of the mussels too. These come in a shiny green pot, full to the brim with mussels in their shells, thick cut fries, great for dipping into the leftover sauce and a thick aioli - perfect!
THE DRINKS
There’s an impressive selection of drinks including wines, draught beer and a selection of cocktails: espresso and passion fruit martinis and margaritas, certainly enough to guarantee something for everyone.
The passion fruit martini is a standout and easily one of the best we have had in Abu Dhabi with a bold and tangy taste, just sweet enough.
